Wilsons swept two chimneys and supplied and fitted a chimney liner and cowl at a large Victorian house. They were efficient clean and pleasant and l will use this family business again. I highly recommend the firm.

Perfect service. Responsive to enquiry, quick to return a quote and made fast work of capping off our chimney on the day. Provided some suggestions of work to future proof other elements of the chimney, and even removed an old aerial for us pro bono. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

Steve came when he said he would, did a good job, everywhere was spotless when he had finished.

Thank you to Carl and colleague for performing a chimney sweep on my Victorian fireplace – just moved in and it’s apparent it hasn’t been cleaned in many many years! The guys were friendly and efficient – the whole thing took 30 minutes.

Thank you to Carl for providing advice on restoring the fireplace into a feature. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Excellent service to remove a magpie from our flue. Then they cleaned,capped and secured the chimney pot . They were really clean and efficient .

Just had this company to our house as we had an animal stuck in the chimney stack
They attended on time and set up their equipment.The animal was a woodpidgeon and was soon rescued and I am glad to say flew off. The two lads then fitted a block on the stack so it wouldn’t happen again.
They were brilliant,covered everything up and didn’t leave a spot of soot/dirt.
The6 were helpful and informative and I would heartily recommend them for any similar problems.10/10.

Appointment made with ease and within a relatively short time. Was kept updated about expected time with a final call of half hour to be on site.
Worker was very respectful and no mess whatsoever made. Area fully covered to catch fall out. Discussion of work and advice given at each stage. Also a very reasonable price.
Will use this company again.

Excellent company. Extremely reliable and ALWAYS turn up at the agreed time (or will ring to advise if running late). Very experienced company that will give good advice based on sound knowledge and ability. Left my log burner like new and respected my home during the process. Always use them, they fitted 2 flue liners in the past and we have the chimney regularly cleaned by them. Highly recommend these guys and I wouldnt use anybody else now.

Wilsons have been coming to us for 25 years and maybe that says it all. They are lovely people, totally reliable and helpful and I have recommended them to many friends over the years. They will call round to investigate any problems at any time, can be counted on for the annual sweep and are just great to have around.
They have just cleared out about 35 years worth of rubble and dust from behind bedroom chimneys. Bags and bags of dust and muck carried out, but the rooms are clean and tidy afterwards.
Another five star job!

Please never retire! What would we do?

My gas engineer referred me to Wilson’s after I had a bad experience with a rogue chimney sweep, who basically didn’t clean the chimney and was paid £75 for nothing.
The service from Wilson’s was the opposite of our previous experience. We wanted to change from multi fuel back to gas. Ste, arranged a date, gave me a price. Really great telephone manner and information.
Ste, Carl and Chris arrived on time. Explained that they were going to remove the old flue liner, supply a gas, supply and fit a gas liner, cowl and adaptor. When they’d finished their work, Ste asked me did I know that the water pipe had came loose. I did, but was waiting for my gutters to be repaired. They then got the ladders up two stories and fixed the pipe for me.
Really efficient. Great price.
Restored my faith in work men coming to the home.

Steve did a brilliant job for me. Called me the day before to confirm time of arrival. Took about an hour to remove an enormous birds nest. This was after two other firms had tried but were unable to complete the same job. Really professional and friendly service. My stove and chimney flu are now working perfectly. Thanks so much Steve.

Highly recommended, had a flue lined with 904 grade tube, and the rest of my pots capped by the team at Wilsons. Not an easy task given that my house is over 200 years old but they did a really good, neat job. Good prices, really nice guys and an excellent service, why go anywhere else!
